Gerard Abate, MD, attended the Universidad Central del Este in the Dominican Republic, and received his medical degree in 1981. Furthermore, he conducted his residency in internal medicine at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. In addition, he completed his fellowship training in cardiology at the University of South Florisa (1987-1990).
